The invention discloses an LED lighting assembly for a refurbished fluorescent tube. The LED lighting assembly comprises at least one LED light source and a driving circuit for driving the at least one LED light source. The driving circuit comprises a switch control module and a rectifying circuit. And the driving circuit is connected with the at least one LED light source and is configured to receive and process the alternating voltage signals from one side or two sides of the LED lighting assembly and control and drive the at least one LED light source based on the processed voltage signals.And the rectifying circuit is connected with the at least one LED light source and is configured to convert the alternating current input into the rectifying circuit into direct current to be supplied to the at least one LED light source. The invention also discloses an LED driving circuit for the refurbished fluorescent tube.
