The invention relates to a biological detection method for a Chinese medicine composition. With inhibition of the Chinese medicine composition on an inflammatory factor IL-6 being a determining index,the method detects the anti-inflammation activity of the Chinese medicine composition. The method includes the steps that A, a Chinese medicine composition sample solution and a comparison product solution are prepared; B, the inhibition rates of the sample solution and the comparison product solution on the inflammatory factor IL-6 are determined; C, with the inhibition rates on the inflammatoryfactor IL-6 being indexes, the valence and the confidence limit rate are calculated.
