The invention discloses a method and device for determining the abrasion of a railway turnout steel rail, a storage medium and a processor. The method comprises the steps of determining a coupling dynamic simulation model of a vehicle turnout; according to the dynamic simulation model, conducting simulation to obtain wheel-rail contact parameters of the vehicle turnout; according to the contact parameters, obtained through simulation, of the vehicle turnout, conducting calculation to obtain an abrasion depth distribution result in a contact spot; obtaining abrasion rates of different sectionsaccordingly; obtaining step length information for iteration steps according to the abrasion rates of different sections of the steel rail, and calculating steel-rail cumulative abrasion of the iteration steps according to the abrasion rates of different sections and the step length information for the iteration steps; if the peak value of the steel-rail cumulative abrasion obtained in the iteration steps reaches the limit value, sending updating information, wherein the updating information is used for characterizing the need for updating the steel rail. The method and device for determiningthe abrasion of the railway turnout steel rail, the storage medium and the processor solve the problem that in the prior art, the abrasion of the turnout steel rail cannot be reasonably and accuratelypredicted.
