The invention discloses a GeAPSO-34 molecular sieve and preparation and application methods thereof. The GeAPSO-34 molecular sieve is provided with a CHA topological structure, and is prepared from the elementary compositions of silicon, germanium, aluminum, phosphorus, and oxygen, wherein according to the weight ratio, SiO2 to P2O5 is 0.01-0.20, GeO2 to P2O5 is 0.01-0.15, SiO2 to Al2O3 is 0.01-0.20, and GeO2 to Al2O3 is 0.01-0.15. The preparation method includes the steps that by adding seed crystals, crystallization synthesis is guided, microwave hydrothermal crystallization is conducted under the self-pressure, and the GeAPSO-34 molecular sieve is obtained through separation, washing and drying. The preparation method is simple, practical and fast, and the obtained GeAPSO-34 molecular sieve is used for a reaction for preparing low carbon olefin through conversion of methanol or dimethyl ether, and has good selectivity of low carbon olefin such as ethylene, propylene and butene.
