Each of the first pixel (51R) and the second pixel (51L) includes a charge retentionportion (63) which retains charges transferred from the photoelectric conversion portion (61), wherein the photoelectric conversion portion (61) and the charge retention portion (63) are arrayed in acolumn direction (Y) in each pixel.
