Due to variable application of a steel supporting system, the application range of the jacking technology in bridge heightening transformation construction is enlarged; the method solves the problems that the bridge disassembling and rebuilding cost ishigh, and the construction period is long, on the premise of ensuring the safety of a bridge span structure, the construction efficiency is improved, and the building cost is lowered; by sufficientlyutilizing characteristics of variable jacking steel support assemblies, on the condition that synchronous jacking of the bridge upper and lower portion structures is achieved, the lower portion structure transformation construction space is reserved, and the method is applicable to synchronous jacking of the bridge upper and lower portion structures and transformation construction of the lower portion structure.
