The invention discloses a preparation for disinfection and hygienic cleaning of hard surfaces of air conditioners and general objects, and a preparation method thereof. The preparation comprises, by mass, 0.2-5 parts of a quaternary ammonium salt cationic compound, 0.01-2 parts of a guanidine compound, 0.1-1 part of a chelating agent, 5-18 parts of fatty alcohols, 2-10 parts of an activator, and the balance of water. The cationic active guanidine and the quaternary ammonium salt active factors are combined to achieve advantage complementation, the cross-composite design of the fatty alcohols,the activator and the chelating agent forms a multiple-active factor system, so the preparation has the advantages of high fast sterilization speed, wide sterilization spectrum, easiness in use, and strong corrosion inhibition ability, and the product and the technology can be well applied to the disinfection and hygienic cleaning of the surfaces of air conditioners, food processing devices and general objects in public places such as homes, hospitals and hotels.
