The invention provides an intelligent monitoring method for safety equipment of construction personnel based on image recognition, and relates to the technical field of video intelligent monitoring and recognition. The intelligent monitoring method comprises personnel safety protection equipment with a wireless camera capable of recognizing icons, an interactive intelligent assistant, a sensor, aclient and a cloud service center; the interactive intelligent assistant comprises wireless cameras, an ARM cluster, an alarm, a display, a hard disk and an interface device; various wireless camera are respectively in wireless connection with the intelligent assistant through RFID, 3G or 4G communication modes; the client is in wireless connection with the intelligent assistant through GPRS, 3G or 4G communication modes; and the cloud service center is in wireless connection with the intelligent assistant through a WAN/LAN communication mode. The intelligent monitoring method for the safety equipment of the construction personnel based on the image recognition provided by the invention has the video image recognition functions such as target detection, motion analysis and behavior recognition, can realize real-time automatic monitoring analysis and safety early warning, find potential safety hazards in time, and guarantee the safety in production.
