The invention provides a preparing method and application of a mint aroma type aromatic microcapsule for heated-noncombustible tobacco. The mint aroma type aromatic microcapsule is obtained through the steps of mixing gelatin and polysaccharides according to the mass ratio of 1:(1.0-1.5), dissolving the mixture in water to prepare a wall material solution with the mixture concentration of 0.2-2.0%, adding mint aroma type essence to be continuously stirred and emulsified for 10-15 min at the rotating speed of 500-800 rpm, adjusting the pH to be 3.5-4.2, conducting stirring for 15-30 min at a constant temperature, adding a curing agent, adjusting the pH to be 6.0-7.0, heating the system until the temperature reaches 35+-5 DEG C, conducting curing for 1-4 h, stopping stirring, conducting standing and suction filtering, washing away a curing agent left on the surface of the microcapsule, and conducting drying at a room temperature to obtain a powdery sample. Co-mixing spinning is conductedon the aromatic microcapsule prepared through the method and a finished shred base material, the addition amount of the capsule accounts for 5-15% that of shreds, the shreds are added into a heated-noncombustible cigarette filter stick, and the release of aroma can be controlled.
