The invention provides a train spatiotemporal path planning method and system. The method comprises the steps that the following parameters are determined: sections in a pulling in or leaving topological network, allowing speed at starting turnouts of each section, the shortest travel time of a train in the two starting turnouts of the two adjacent sections, the switching time of inlet turnouts ofeach section, and the train interval and length requested by continuous locked or noncontinuous locked trains in the sections; to-be-entered sections and pulling in times of each train and train group operation sequence are planned based on the parameters. The method and the system have the advantage that two trains can perform pulling in and leaving operations at a shorter interval.
