The invention discloses a preparation process of a super-hydrophobic super-self-cleaning anti-pollution flashover insulator applied to an electric power system, and relates to the technical field of coatings. The preparation technology comprises the following steps: step (1) preparing nano-silica particles; step (2) obtaining nano-silica particles with lower surface energy; step (3) carrying out surface modification; and step (4) obtaining a super-hydrophobic coating. The coating is mainly composed of micro-nano inorganic materials, and the porous multi-stage multilayer structure causes the coating to be stable and wear-resistant. Although the transfer characteristic of the material affects the service life of the coating, the DSAN material has super-strong self-cleaning ability, the transfer and diffusion time required by the material is relatively short; and few micromolecule and nano-particles are consumed. The insulator does not need surface treatment after the service life of theDSAN material is terminated; and the DSAN material can be directly sprayed and is maintenance-free within the service life.
