The intelligent system comprises a mounting plate, anoptical cable and a suspension wire, two supporting plates are symmetrically fixed at the top of the mounting plate, a walking device is arranged above a position between the two supporting plates, the walking device comprises two walking rollers and a driving component, the two walking rollers are horizontally and symmetrically distributed between the two supporting plates, the two ends of the two walking rollers are respectively rotatably connected with the supporting plates by virtue of a bearing, one end of each walking roller passes through the supporting plates to be fixed with the output terminal of the driving component, and the driving component is fixed outside the supporting plates. The intelligent system for detecting the ground clearance of the optical cable on the basis of the Internet of Things technology can clamp the suspension wire by virtue of a clamping roller and the walking rollers, so that the walking device can move on the suspension wire more stably; and accumulated snow on the suspension wire can be eliminated, so that interference of the accumulated snow on motion of the walking rollers is prevented, and stability of detection on the ground clearance ofthe optical cable is improved.
