A simulation system, a processing method, and an information storage medium. The simulation system includes: a moving body processing part for performing processing for causing a moving body representing a user wearing an HMD to move in a virtual space; a virtual camera control part for controlling a virtual camera which moves in response to the movement of the moving body; and a display processing part for generating, as a display image on the head-mounted display device, an image as viewed from the virtual camera in the virtual space. When generating the image, the display processing part performs, as image effect processing for prevention of motion sickness, processing for blurring objects which are within a distance range farther away from a given distance from the virtual camera rangeas opposed to objects which are within the given distance range.
