The invention discloses a method for judging excessive energy supply intensity difference. The method includes judging data independently collected at any time by a master station of an energy metering management system for all branch lines of a same energy conveying main line; calculating the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value in the energy supply intensity values of metering equipment on all the branch lines when the energy supply intensity values of the metering equipment on all the branch lines are greater than 0 and less than eight times the standard energy supplyintensity values, and when the energy supply intensity values of the metering equipment on all the branch lines are not less than the threshold values of energy supply intensity, or the energy supplyintensity values of the metering equipment on all the branch lines are less than the threshold values of energy supply intensity; obtaining the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value in the energy supply intensity values of the metering equipment on all the branch lines; and determining that the energy supply intensity difference is excessive when the difference between the difference and the maximum value in the energy supply intensity values of the metering equipment on all the branch lines is greater than a ratio threshold value.
