The invention provides a precision detection method and system for VSC-HVDC (flexible direct current transmission) system metering method and metering device. The precision detection method includes the steps: establishing an RTDS simulation model of the VSC-HVDC system, and selecting an energy efficiency metering point of the VSC-HVDC system simulation model; detecting a corresponding first active power value of the output of each energy efficiency metering point in the RTDS simulation model, connecting an energy efficient metering device to the energy efficiency metering point, and obtaininga second active metering value of the energy efficiency metering point by the energy efficiency metering device; and calculating whether the precision of the energy efficiency metering device satisfies the requirement according to the first active metering value and the second active metering value; and if the requirement is satisfied, indicating that the energy efficiency metering device is suitable for the VSC-HVDC system and then the power loss of the VSC-HVDC system can be measured and the test result is accurate.
