The transmission cable overhauling equipment comprises an overhauling vehicle body and a welding machine arranged on the overhaulingvehicle body, wherein the overhauling vehicle body is rotationally arranged on the base through a revolving support; an upper part of the base is provided with a row of automatic lifting columns; a cross beam of which the section is U-shaped is arranged at upper ends of the row of automatic lifting columns; an operation table side is arranged on the middle part of the cross beam; two sides on theoperation table side of the inner side of the cross beam are provided with a row of driven rollers respectively; two cover plates of which the sections are inverted-U shaped in a slide manner along adirection vertical to the length direction of the cross beam are arranged at the two ends of the cross beam respectively; two driven rollers are rotationally arranged at the two ends of the inner side each cover plate respectively; and the front side of the middle part of the cross beam is provided with a hoisting basket for carrying a welding staff. Through adoption of the transmission cable overhauling equipment, the broken cables on two sides can be clamped and conveyed to the operation table for welding by using synchronously-driven stepping motors, and the broken cables can be welded andrepaired on site by using the lifting operation table side for welding and the built-in welding machine.
