The invention provides an Al-Sc-B heat-resisting alloy monofilament and a preparation method thereof. The alloy monofilament is prepared from the following alloy elements in percentage by weight: 0.01to 0.02 percent of B, 0.1 to 0.3 percent of Sc, less than or equal to 0.06 percent of Si, less than or equal to 0.2 percent of Fe, less than or equal to 0.012 percent of (V+Ti+Cr+Mn) and the balanceof aluminum and unavoidable other trace impurities. Trace alloy elements are added into an alloy; a trace rare-earth Sc element is added to modify the alloy and the content of the alloy elements is optimized and adjusted, so that the mechanical properties of the alloy are ensured and the electric conductivity is improved; and the electric conductivity of the monofilament is greater than or equal to 62.5 percent IACS (20 DEG C), the tensile strength is greater than or equal to 171MPa, the elongation percentage is greater than or equal to 2.1 percent, the strength survival rate is greater than or equal to 93 percent when the monofilament is subjected to heat insulation at 230 DEG C for 1h, and the requirement that the long-period operation temperature is 150 DEG C is met.
