The invention provides a binder composition used for preparation of optical cement and comprising a main cement forming material and organic organic nanoparticles dispersing in the main cement formingmaterial, wherein the main cement forming material is made from a monomer mixture of resin and comonomers and the mass of the organic nanoparticles accounts for 3-20% of that of the main cement forming material. The invention further provides the optical cement, a display device and a preparation method of the binder composition. The optical cement prepared from the binder composition has high energy storage modulus; a first stress adjustment layer prepared from the optical cement is prevented from creasing when the display device with the first stress adjustment layer is used in an environment with high temperature.
