The invention discloses a composite connecting technology for a metal panel and carbon fiber composite material. The technology comprises the following steps that a round hole is machined in a connecting region of a carbon fiber plate, and a gasket is placed into the round hole; the surface of the surrounding of the round hole of the carbon fiber plate and the end faces of the two sides of the gasket are each coated with an adhesive; an electric explosion aluminum foil, an auxiliary fly board, the carbon fiber plate with the gasket and a metal panel to be connected are sequentially stacked ona lower base plate; an upper base plate is tightly compressed on the electric explosion aluminum foil; the electric explosion aluminum foil is started to generate high speed impact force, the auxiliary fly board generates high speed plastic deformation on materials around the gasket and penetrates into the hole in the gasket in a bulging mode to impact and collide with the metal panel at high speed to form a welding joint; radiation heating is applied to the welding joint, so that the adhesives between the carbon fiber plate and the metal panel are cured. Composite connection between the metalpanel and the carbon fiber plate is achieved, the formed joint is good in performance, the connecting efficiency and connecting quality are improved, and the machining cost is lowered.
