The invention provides a shallow sinking type road green belt construction method, belonging to the field of road greening construction. The overall surface of the green belt is below the shortcut table of 20-30mm, and a saw-tooth type station stone is adopted for isolating and encircle the green belt at the contact part of the green belt and the road surface, so as to ensure that the elevation ofthe stone tooth ditch of the saw-tooth type station is flush with the green belt; 1/4-1/3 cross-section of the green belt, a vertical narrow trench with a narrow upper and a lower width is used as the water storage body, and the bottom of the longitudinal seepage ditch is scattered with an adsorptive separation layer compose of withered branches and leaves, meanwhile, a chemical fiber filter fabric is laid in the transverse direction of the longitudinal seepage ditch at an interval of 3 meters; the road is longitudinally spaced 8 to 10 meters apart, a small evaporation tank which is 20cm deeper than that seepage ditch and is connected with the seepage ditch is dug at the adjacent position of the longitudinal seepage ditch, and the surrounding wall and the interior are filled with perforated bricks or round timber without cementation; in the part of longitudinal seepage ditch connected with small evaporation pool, the seepage ditch subsided 20cm and the hollow concrete short pipe culvert whose buried end was plugged by mesh. Through the structure, the initial rain can be appropriately accumulated and purified by evaporation, and the initial rain can be avoided to be mixed.
