The invention provides an antistatic paint for the surface of a high-voltage insulating medium. With epoxy resin as a base material, conductive carbon fiber as conductive filler and an epoxy dilutingagent and an epoxy defoaming agent as auxiliary agents, an antistatic paint stock solution is prepared according to a certain proportion; the antistatic paint stock solution is evenly mixed with an epoxy curing agent, and then an antistatic coating is formed on the surface of the high-voltage insulating medium after curing. The invention further provides a preparation method of the antistatic paint for the surface of the high-voltage insulating medium. The mechanical strength of the antistatic paint and the coating formed by the same can meet the transportation and assembly requirements, and effective suppression and elimination of surface charges of the high-voltage equipment insulating medium can be realized.
