The invention provides an ultra-high voltage GIS bus service life evaluation method based on early failure period discrimination, which comprises the following steps: step 1, analyzing the operation situation of the ultra-high voltage GIS bus; 2, judging that early failure period of the UHV GIS bus bar; 3, evaluating that service life of the UHV GIS bus bar; Through the above steps, a method of judging the early failure period based on the specified reliability level and a method of evaluating the service life of UHV GIS busbar are proposed. This method is simple and practical, and effectivelysolves the problem of evaluating the service life of UHV GIS busbar.
