According to the invention, an aromatic dicarboxylic acid or a derivativethereof and aliphatic diol are subjected to an esterification reaction, and then a condensation polymerization reaction is carried out with a corresponding aromatic oligomer, when the condensation polymerization reaction is carried out, a first sub-group transition metal compound is further added for catalysis so that the hydrolysis-resistant polyester has a chemical structural unit containing a general formula shown in the specification, in the formula, Ar is an aromatic group having 6 to 18 carbon atoms or a derivative group thereof; and the terminal carboxyl group content of the hydrolysis-resistant polyester is less than 10 mol/t. By adding the first sub-group transition metal compound for catalysis to form a corresponding end-capped structure during the condensation polymerization reaction, and precisely controlling the terminal carboxyl group content of the hydrolysis-resistant polyester, the hydrolysis resistance of the polyester can be effectively increased, the cost is low, the process is simple, and the hydrolysis is stable.
