The invention relates to an automatic coin separation and collection device, which comprises a coin separating mechanism, a coin transferring mechanism and coin collecting mechanisms, wherein the coinseparating mechanism separates coins through a top sieve plate and a middle sieve plate in a vibrating box, detects whether the coins are completely separated or not through an infrared sensor, and discharges the coins to the coin transferring mechanism in a dumping mode; the coin transferring mechanism is composed of three sets of coin transferring slideways, each set of coin slideways firstly distributes the coins, then converges the coins and only outputs one coin to the corresponding coin collecting mechanism at one time after the convergence; each coin collecting mechanism imports the coins falling from the coin transferring mechanism through a coin receiving funnel, the coins directly fall in a coin collecting and stacking cylinder under the coin receiving funnel, and when a weightsensor arranged at the lower part of a conveyor belt detects that the gravity of the coins collected by the coin collecting and stacking cylinder reaches a set value, the next empty coin collecting and stacking cylinder is moved to the position under the coin receiving funnel through the conveyor belt to collect the coins continuously.
