The prepreg positioning method comprises the steps of target hole designing; preforming tool positioning; distance measuring; outline unfolding and coordinate converting, specifically, the outline of a to-be-machined part is unfolded by taking the web face as the benchmark through software, and then an unfolded graph is transferred to a material platform according to the coordinate relation; laser projecting, specifically, a coordinate system is built at a target hole of a preforming tool through a laser projecting technology, and the unfolded and position-transferred material outline is projected; and material positioning, specifically, a prepreg laminating board is arranged on a diaphragm and positioned on the material platform according to the laser-projected material outline.
