The invention relates to an isolated bidirectional AC/DC converter and particularly relates to a control method of the isolated bidirectional AC/DC converter based on a dual active bridge. A voltage controller for regulating the DC side voltage is arranged at the DC side of the isolated bidirectional AC/DC converter, an output signal of the voltage controller is the AC side output current reference value I(i)g(/i)*; calculation of the AC side output current reference value I(i)g(/i)* is performed to obtain a main control signal alpha', based on the main control signal alpha', the internal phase shift ratio D1, the external phase shift ratio D2 and the actual switching frequency f(i)s(/i) of switching tubes forming the dual active bridge are obtained through calculation, driving signals ofall the switching tubes of the dual active bridge are controlled through the D1, the D2 and the f(i)s(/i), and all the switching tubes forming a synchronous rectifier bridge are controlled based on positive or negative property of the converter AC side voltage v(i)ac(/i). The control method is advantaged in that dual phase shifting and frequency conversion control are combined to realize linearization control of the output current of the AC side, the control method is simplified, converter single-stage power conversion is realized, and power conversion efficiency is improved.
