The invention discloses a method for preparing o-phenylphenol through catalyzing the loop opening of dibenzofuran. According to the method, industrial dibenzofuran is taken as the raw material and iscatalyzed into a hydrogenation catalyst through nano-titanium oxide mesoporous composite material loaded copper, an ordered mesoporous silica material/nano-titanium oxide mesoporous composite materialis taken as a carrier of the catalyst, the carrier is used for loading metal copper, the dispersity of titanium oxide is high, and the hydrothermal stability is good. The catalyst is high in stability, active components of the catalyst are unlikely to be lost in the use process, and the catalyst can be repeatedly used; and by utilizing the catalyst, an o-phenylphenol product is highly selectivelyacquired, the yield of o-phenylphenol is about 30%, the yield of biphenyl is 50%, the total yield of benzene and cyclohexane is below 10%, and the rest product is phenylcyclohexane.
