The present invention provides a method for transmitting group call configuration information, an MME, and a system for transmitting group call configuration information, wherein the method includes steps of receiving, by the MME, a first message sent by a first base station, wherein the first message includes the group call configuration information of the first base station and a target base station list; for each second base station in the target base station list, inserting the group call configuration information of the first base station into the cache linked list of the second base station for caching the group call configuration information; when the number of nodes in the cache linked list reaches a preset value, combining the group call configuration information of all first basestations in the cache linked list to obtain a second message; and sending the second message to the second base station through a S1 port. It can be seen that the group call configuration informationsent from different first base stations to the same second base station is cached first, and then the cached group call configuration information of the plurality of first base stations are combinedand sent to the second base station. Thus, the message forwarding amount of the S1 port is reduced, a signalling loss probability of the S1 port is reduced, and the normal service and performance of the system are guaranteed.
