The invention provides a preparation method of a high-temperature dust removal filter tube. The method comprises the following steps of A) thinning both ends of a ceramic fiber blanket to obtain a treated ceramic fiber blanket; B) after the treated ceramic fiber blanket is wound, combining the two ends thinned by a high temperature binder to obtain a shaped tube, wherein the thickness of the combine portion is the same as the thickness of the ceramic fiber blanket; C) immersing the shaped tube with an inorganic binder, and drying to obtain the high-temperature dust removal filter tube. The tube adopts the ceramic fiber blanket, the inorganic binder and the high-temperature binder as main raw materials, the high-temperature dust removal filter tube prepared according to the above process has a bulk density of 250-450 kg/m3, high porosity and excellent dust removal efficiency, the high-temperature dust removal filter tube has excellent mechanical strength and thermal shock resistance, and construction and installation are convenient.
