The invention relates to a method and device for fault processing of power distribution equipment based on fuzzy control. The method comprises the steps: entering an active current-limiting control mode when a load side is judged to have a fault according to a calculated active current-limiting control criterion value f, and adjusting an output current effective value to a preset current value range; determining that a fault is removed when the time of entering the active current-limiting control mode is judged not to reach the preset maintenance time and an output voltage is greater than a preset voltage recovery threshold value, and switching a system control mode to a normal power supply mode. The method and device can timely detect a short-circuit fault of a load, perform the active current-limiting control when the load has the short-circuit fault, and improve the equipment operation reliability and load friendliness.
