The invention provides a method performed by user equipment (UE). The method comprises the steps of when the UE performs a beam recovery preparation process, performing one or more of the following operations: stopping or pausing the receiving of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) on a failed beam or beam direction; storing parameters related to one or more logic channels; or storing related information of a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process; and when the beam recovery process is finished, performing one or more of the following corresponding operations: receiving the PDCCH on a working beam or beam direction; recovering the parameters related to the one or more logic channels; or recovering the related information of the HARQ process.
