The invention provides a water-stopping switching valve core. The water-stopping switching valve core comprises a fixed shaft and a switching shaft arranged in the fixed shaft and arranged coaxially with the fixed shaft; the switching shaft is in linkage with an operating piece so as to move among a first position, a second position and a third position in the fixed shaft in the axial direction; and one end of the switching shaft is a water inlet end, and the other end of the switching shaft is a water outlet end, so that a water passing passage is formed in the axial direction. According to the water-stopping switching valve core, when the switching shaft is located at the first position, the water inlet end is closed to form a water stopping state; when the switching shaft is located atthe second position, the water inlet end is opened, moreover, an air inlet is formed between one side, close to the water outlet end, of the side wall of the switching shaft and the fixed shaft, whenwater flow flows into the fixed shaft from the water outlet end, due to the fact that the diameter of the fixed shaft is larger than the diameter of the water outlet end, the venturi effect is generated, so that air is sucked into the fixed shaft from the air inlet and is mixed with the water flow, and the air suction shower head water is formed and water discharge is achieved; and when the switching shaft is located at the third position, the water inlet end is kept in the open state, and the air inlet is closed to form common water discharge.
