The invention relates to a waterproof coating and a preparation method thereof. The waterproof coating includes a component A, a component B and a component C. During use, the component A, the component B and the component C are evenly mixed at a weight ratio of 3:1.5-2.5:1-2; by weight ratio, the component A includes 60-100 parts of waterborne acrylic resin and 10-20 parts of titanium dioxide; the component B includes 20-50 parts of oily epoxy resin, 3-5 parts of silane coupling agent, 0.2-2 parts of antiaging agent and 1-3 parts of defoamer; and the component C includes 20-50 parts of sulphoaluminate cement, 0.2-0.5 part of water reducing agent and 10-30 parts of polyamide. Compared with an existing waterproof coating, the waterproof coating has good bonding and sealing performances, also has excellent crack resistance, impermeability, durability and strength, and has a short curing time.
