The invention relates to a large coal-fired unit powder producing optimization control method based on an intelligent evolutionary algorithm. The method comprises the steps that a powder producing system control mechanism model coupled with the coal quality in case of grinding multiple types of coal is established according to the powder producing system thermal balance and safe operation boundarythrough combination of the expert knowledge; and the optimal control strategy guiding operation of the coal mill is searched based on the evolutionary algorithm by using the established powder producing system control mechanism model. The safe operation boundary of the powder producing system can be calculated in advance according to the characteristics of different coal types and different powder producing systems, the economic benefits under different mix-burning proportions can be calculated under the premise that the safety and environmental protection emission indicators meet the requirements and the optimal mix-burning proportion of the maximum mix-burning benefit can be found for guiding optimal operation of the boiler powder producing system.
