The invention provides an oil demetalization agent. The oil demetalization agent is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 1 to 20 percent of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone, 1 to20 percent of glycol-bis-(2-aminoethylether)-N,N,N',N'-tetraacetic acid, 1 to 15 percent of N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-ethylenediamine-N,N',N'-triacetic acid, 1 to 20 percent of ethylenediamine, 1 to 20 percent of methanol and 5 to 30 percent of water. Meanwhile, the invention also provides a preparation method and application of the oil demetalization agent. According to the oil demetalization agent provided by the invention, an acidic organic complexing agent reacts with the ethylenediamine to generate a compound containing N and P elements and the compound and the N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone have a synergistic effect, so that the complexing capability to metal elements is improved; meanwhile, the corrosion of acidic substances on carbon steel equipment is avoided and the demetalization effect isgood.
