The air conditioner device comprises an indirect heat exchange core provided with a cavity around or in the indirect heat exchange core, a first bypass air valve arranged on the front side of the cavity, a second bypass air valve arranged on the front side of the indirect heat exchange core, an outdoor sensor arranged at an air inlet of the air conditioner device and used for obtaining outdoor environment temperature and indoor environment humidity and a controller used for controlling the first bypass air valve and the second bypass air valve to be opened or closed according to the range of the outdoor environment temperature and/or the outdoor environment humidity so as to enable the airconditioner device to enter different work modes. By the adoption of the air conditioner device and the control method of the air conditioner device, when the air conditioner device performs an indirect heat exchange refrigeration mode or a mechanical refrigeration mode, through control over opening and closing of the first bypass air valve and the second bypass air valve, indoor hot air is flexibly controlled to enter the indirect heat exchange core or not.
