The invention relates to a multi-winding current transformer with the same magnetic path and a fabrication method of the multi-winding current transformer. The current transformer comprises a main coil and a plurality of branch coils, wherein a primary-side winding of the main coil is connected with a tested circuit via a primary-side input terminal of the main coil, primary-side windings of the plurality of branch coils are connected to an output terminals of a secondary-side winding of the main coil in a cascaded manner. In the multi-winding current transformer with the same magnetic path, the plurality of branch coils are connected to the secondary-side winding of the main coil in the cascaded manner, the multi-coil requirement proposed by relay protection, electric energy metering andelectric quantity monitoring and backup can be met by such a coil cascading mode, the coils of ordinary coils at a high-voltage side of the current transformer are reduced, and the main insulation binding difficulty of multiple windings of the current transformer at a current stage is greatly reduced; and moreover, the main iron core structure is lower in requirement during the transportation andinstallation process of the current transformer, and the running reliability of the current transformer is improved.
