The invention discloses a method for classifying batteries based on the fuzzy means clustering algorithm. The method comprises the steps that the to-be-classified batteries are subjected to the dynamic impedance test in the charging state and the discharging state, and a dynamic impedance test curve of the multiple batteries in the charging and discharging state is obtained; in the dynamic impedance test curve, a plurality of sampling points of the dynamic impedance test of each battery are selected; the multiple sampling points of the dynamic impedance test of each battery are utilized, and an original data matrix of multiple classifying factors is established; the original data matrix is subjected to normalization processing, and an initialized data matrix is obtained; and on the basis of the initialized data matrix, one of the multiple classifying factors is selected as a main classifying factor, a similarity function of the main classifying factor is established through the fuzzy clustering algorithm, and the to-be-classified batteries are classified.
