The confidential topographic map transmission method comprises the steps that: field acquired confidential topographic map data and surveying and mapping control point outcome tables are stored in a sending encryption machine; the sending encryption machine calculates the relative relation of the two, and transmits relative relation data and translated topographic map data to a sending intermediate machine; the sending intermediate machine receives two kinds of data; a sending non-encryption machine receives the two kinds of data, and sends the two kinds of data to the internet; a receiving non-encryption machine receives the two kinds of data, and transmits the two kinds of data to a receiving intermediate machine; the receiving intermediate machine receives the two kinds of data, and transmits the two kinds of data to a receiving encryption machine; the receiving encryption machine receives the two kinds of data, performs calculation together with the surveying and mapping control point outcome tables stored in the receiving encryption machine so as to release the relative relation, and obtains acquisition point coordinates on the field acquired topographic map; and the original confidential topographic map is reduced by utilization of the acquisition point coordinates and the translated topographic map data.
