A subsynchronous damping control system and a parameter optimization method are disclosed. The subsynchronous damping control system comprises a subsynchronous damping controller, and an electromagnetic transient simulation module connected to the subsynchronous damping controller; the subsynchronous damping controller comprises a band pass filter, a compensator and a limiter module which are connected from left to right, wherein the compensator is configured to acquire an oscillating signal in a subsynchronous oscillating frequency range extracted from the band pass filter, and perform phasecorrection and amplification on the oscillating signal and output through a limiting module; and the electromagnetic transient simulation module is configured to optimize parameters of the compensatorthat affect compensation performance based on wind farm power fluctuations. The subsynchronous damping controller is simple in control structure, and can effectively suppress SSO, wherein the compensator can select single or multiple lead-lag units according to system compensation requirements, and the applicability is good; and the subsynchronous damping controller only functions on the frequency range of the subsynchronous oscillating mode, and the system stability is good.
