The zinc oxide valve piece fitting method based on the homoenergetic principle and the single-column zinc oxide arrester matching method in the invention can solve the problem that the zincoxide valve piece with poor performance can accelerate the failure or even the breakdown of the whole group of arresters due to the large number of the zinc oxide valve pieces, the large difference in the volt-ampere characteristics or the large residual voltage dispersity of the single piece and prevent the direct current system from being forced to stop.
