Provided is an instant noodles container lid that produces a display based on the amount of time which has elapsed since hot water was administered. The lid for the instant noodles container comprises, in the following order from a first side to a second side, a surface material, an intermediate material, and a sealing substrate, which has a sealant layer; the surface material, which excludes a prescribed first region, having a printed layer; the intermediate material comprising, in the following order starting from the first side, a paper layer, a printed layer, and a filler layer, and a waxlayer that is positioned in a second region which covers the first region in a plan view of the lid; a first half-cut being formed, in the first region, from the surface material to the paper layer ofthe intermediate material; and a second half-cut being formed, in a portion of the second region facing the outside of the first region, from the filler layer to the paper layer of the intermediate material.
