The invention belongs to the technical field of difficult-to-machine material machining and provides a multi-edge micro-tooth milling cutter cutting edge damage inhibiting micro-tooth arrangement anddesign method. The method comprises axially splitting and expanding a three-dimensional milling cutter to form a two-dimensional milling cutter micro-tooth layout with a tangential-axial coordinate system, and then determining the structural parameters of the milling cutter to determine a design method that the upper end lower edges of micro-teeth are arranged in an overlapped mode; the edge overlapped mode of the micro-teeth can effectively reduce the cutting thickness of sharp corners and ensure excellent cutting performance of the micro-teeth under a long cutting stroke, and meanwhile, canensure relative uniformity of the cutting thickness of the micro-teeth, reduce tool vibration during high-speed milling of carbon fiber composite materials and accordingly avoid chipping at weak sharpcorners. Besides, based on the three-dimensional modelling software of SolidWorks, the accuracy of the multi-edge micro-tooth milling cutter cutting edge damage inhibiting micro-tooth arrangement anddesign method can be validated, and high-speed, stable and effective machining of the carbon fiber composite materials under high cutting capacity can be achieved.
