The invention discloses a smelting method of low-Ca and low-Al welding wire steel. The smelting method comprises the procedures of converter smelting, deoxidation alloying, heating slag burdening, LFfirst-section refining, LF second-section refining, continuous casting and the like. The first-section refining uses high-alkalinity slag for guaranteeing the submerged arc effect, reducing added nitrogen and improving the deoxidation effect; and the second-section refining uses low-alkalinity slag for modifying inclusions to effectively reduce Ca and Al contents in the steel. The smelting methodcan stably control the contents of calcium and aluminum in the welding wire steel as follows: the calcium content is not higher than 8 ppm, the aluminum content is not higher than 20 ppm, and the nitrogen content is not higher than 30 ppm, so that the drawing performance of the welding wire steel is prominently improved, the splashing in the welding process is reduced, and the characteristics of simple operation process and low operating cost are achieved.
