The invention relates to a shut-off and/or throttling valve having a valve housing, which has a fluid system having a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a fluid chamber arranged therebetween, wherein the fluid chamber contains a blocking geometry and is bounded opposite the blocking geometry by a blocking membrane, wherein the blocking membrane is connected to a tappet on the side of the blocking membrane facing away from the fluid chamber (8) in such a way that the blocking membrane can be pressed against the blockage geometry and lifted from the blockage geometry by movement of the tappet, andwherein the tappet is arranged freely floating in a cavity of the valve housing.
