The invention relates to a photoelectric material, in particular to the photoelectric material for improving corrosion resistance of stainless steel and a repairing method thereof. The photoelectric material is characterized in that a titanium matrix is subjected to oxidation calcination to form a tubular nano TiO2 film, and then is subjected to hydrothermal treatment on a ZnWO4 precursor solutionto obtain ZnWO4/TiO2 photoelectric nano composite film, namely the photoelectric material. According to the photoelectric material and the repairing method thereof, the prepared photoelectric material shows the excellent photogenerated cathode protection performance for 304 stainless steel in a humid environment such as oceans, and has the characteristics of being easy to operate, stable in performance and high in photoelectric efficiency.
