The invention discloses a polystyrene composite material for 3D printing and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the field of 3D printing materials. The polystyrene composite material comprisesthe following raw materials by weight: 75 to 85 parts of polystyrene, 1 to 15 parts of a filling material, 5 to 10 parts of a flexibilizer, 0.1 to 1 part of an anti-oxidant and 0 to 5 parts of an accessory material. Compared with conventional polystyrene materials, the polystyrene composite material provided by the invention has the advantages that the density of the polystyrene composite material is also low; a formed part prepared from the polystyrene composite material through 3D printing has good toughness, good shock resistance, high transparency, low shrinkage and good heat resistance;and the polystyrene composite material is widely applicable to the field of 3D printing.
