The invention provides an adaptive sliding-mode control method for a PMSM. For external interference of a system and uncertain problems of modeling parameters, an adaptive fault-tolerant adjusting function is designed in control laws, so that the system interference can be effectively reduced. Moreover, a designed sliding-mode surface is related to a derivative of control input, and a discontinuous term is transferred to a derivative of control to obtain dynamic sliding-mode control laws essentially continuous in time so as to effectively weaken buffeting. Furthermore, a dynamic sliding-mode surface provided by the invention is nonlinear, and the system state can converge to zero in a finite time, thereby having higher steady tracking accuracy and higher dynamic performances as compared with the traditional sliding-mode method. The adaptive sliding-mode control method for the PMSM disclosed by the invention can greatly improve the system robustness, is simply implemented and very goodin application prospects.
