An exhausted shutdown method for a dual-mode satellite pushing system relates to the field of the satellite pushing system design. The exhausted shutdown method for the dual-mode satellite pushing system includes steps of (1), setting an effective time length t0 of an exhausted shutdown strategy of the dual-mode satellite pushing system; (2), calculating pressure difference delta P according to pressure data P1 of an inlet of an oxidant storage box and pressure P2 of a generator oxygen path inlet; (3), judging the pressure difference delta P; confirming if the satellite sends a track control generator shutdown order to a track control generator according to the judging result; (4), when the ignition time of the track control generator reaches the last moment of the effective time length t0of an exhausted shutdown strategy, sending the track control generator shutdown order by the satellite and controlling the track control generator to shut down. By using the hardware resource of thedual-mode satellite pushing system itself, the system is controlled to shut down at the exhaust moment of oxidant, the full use of the system oxidant is ensured.
