The invention provides a method and system for quickly determining the stability of a power grid based on deep learning. The method comprises a step of obtaining plant station input amount data of a power grid, a step of inputting the plant station input amount data into a pre-established deep confidence network model to obtain a value corresponding to a stability judgment index of the power grid,and a step of judging the stability of power grid based on the stability judgment index value of the power grid, wherein the pre-established deep confidence network model comprises a hierarchical network structure constructed based on a power grid topology structure. According to the method and the system, the stability of the power grid is quickly judged by establishing the deep confidence network model, the quick calculation of the stability judgment index value of the power grid is achieved, and the effectiveness of the grid online security and stability analysis is improved.
